Sorry guys. Lately I've been in photo mode! Enjoy these photos I took when I realized the kitchen faucet was doing something strange.

I used between 1/100th of a second to 1/2000th of a second for the shutter speed.

I also had to use flash, otherwise it would be waaaaay too dark.

Autofocus this time.

Fun, huh?

Coyotes sing in the dark.

Night of the Leonid Meteor shower. I witnessed only two or three meteors, sadly. However, I did get these nice photos of the starry sky.

We traveled a few miles out, not sure how many t be exact. The orange glow by the power light is due to a street lamp. Not many out here but we ended up next to one. This one is my favorite (above). I believe that is Orion's belt..

Aperture: 2.8

Shutter speed: anywhere between 15 seconds (minimum I used), and 60 seconds (maximum my camera can do).

Orion's belt much? I think it is...maybe not though.

ISO: I used 100 in the darkest pictures, 200 and 400 in the grainier photos.

Manual focus: set to infinity.

Camera used: Panasonic Lumix, DMC-FZ7. No tripod. Laid camera on the ground, facing upwards. Sometimes created angle by forming a little hill from the sheets we used to cover the ground.

Enjoy. (:

So dance, fucker, dance!

Show me how to lie, you're getting better all the time...

Had a fun day today despite feeling bad earlier. (:
I spread the joy of the confetti throwing way...perhaps I'll start a church.

Nice work you did. You're gonna go far, kid.

I'm just really addicted to The Offspring right now! I love them! It really reminds me of when I was younger and played the shit out of Crazy Taxi. (:

Everyone I hope you have a great weekend!!

i just can't look it's killing me.

Okay. The semester is almost over.

I have to keep reminding myself of that. If I think about high school and compare it to college, I would never imagine myself acting the way I am towards school. It's disappointing and I feel very ashamed but I am too lazy to change it.

In other news, my camera charger came in and I have been taking pictures like no one's business! I was experimenting with paper confetti and shutter speeds. Mostly I was pleased with the effect but displeased with the model (myself). I gained some weight (tentatively named the sophomore 10) and am too lazy to bother getting rid of it. Today I am going to a park near my place that has....A SEE-SAW. I haven't seen one of these in years! And its great because the confetti experiment and this see-saw experiment are in preparation for my upcoming project.

My newest roommate Alicia is really cool. She's 25 but I feel like she's our age because she doesn't look older and she likes a lot of stuff I do (Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson much?!). She also enjoys drawing and painting but wants to get into photography. I told her about my idea and she said she would like to help me...I think this would be really awesome.

Overall I think we were really lucky getting Alicia as our new roommate. I knew she was a store manager for Abercrombie before I knew her personality....of course I was slightly afraid she'd be someone totally disagreeable but in fact I am so glad my assumptions were wrong.

I'm a little excited for things to come. Especially for my birthday party.

spring schedule!

for anyone that was wondering...

general chemistry II - tuesday and thursday
fundamentals of biology - tuesday and thursday
fundamentals of biology lab - tuesday
french - monday wednesday and friday
differential equations - tuesday and thursday

i was initially planning only to have classes on tuesday and thursday but that left me with only ten credit hours...french gives me fourteen!

what really fucking sucks is i can't take my chemistry lab class. ugh! this is because of the professor i HAVE TO HAVE for chem 108, everyone says richard perkins is the best, and i don't want to risk having a shitty teacher. that leaves me with no options for chem labs. why? because ALL except for one of them is full, and that open one is from 9 to 1150. and my chem II class is from 11 to 1215. FUCK.
